Highlights of Asia’s 2026 premier integrated security event

By CybersecAsia editors | Friday, April 17, 2026, 2:28 PM Asia/Singapore

Highlights of Asia’s 2026 premier integrated security event

Integrated security combines physical, cyber, personnel and operational security into a single, cohesive system, bridging the traditional gaps between detection and response.

Today’s integrated security solutions allow organizations to centralize control for enhanced monitoring, faster incident response, and improved efficiency, commonly linking access control, video surveillance, and AI-enabled systems.

As a leading integrated security event, SECON 2026 demonstrated how AI is being applied across integrated security. Key applications included biometric access control, real-time abnormal behavior detection, and safety solutions for smart cities, ICT infrastructure, and wildfire monitoring. The event also highlighted Explainable AI (XAI) and Proactive AI technologies, enabling transparent decision-making and predictive response capabilities.

Exhibitors at the event showcased platform-based solutions integrating video security, access control, and analytics.

Suprema introduced its Suprema AI Platform, integrating facial authentication, video analytics, and access control, allowing centralized management of access logs and CCTV footage in a single system.

TP-Link featured an integrated solution connecting its B2B and B2C products— VIGI, Omada, and Tapo — along with its AI assistant Aireal, for network management, device control, and video search on one platform.

Union Biometrics unveiled its cloud-based access control platform Alpeta X and Integrated Authentication Center, along with biometric authentication technologies such as pet nose print registration system and Live Guard.

Verkada presented a cloud-based platform integrating video security, access control, and sensor systems, enhancing security and operational efficiency through AI analytics and hardware–software integration.

Hanwha Vision introduced an integrated platform covering design to operation, featuring AI cameras with enhanced low-light performance, WDR, and noise reduction, along with cloud-based video surveillance and dynamic privacy masking.

In the camera and video surveillance sector, TVT highlighted AI video search and thermal imaging solutions tailored to various industries, while IDIS offered an immersive IDIS Safety CINEMA to showcase ultra-low-light NOVA cameras and web-based transaction-blocking solutions.

Overall, SECON 2026 demonstrated the growth potential of the AI-driven integrated security market through a diverse range of monitoring platforms and analytics solutions.

Mr Jincai Yang, International President of Asia Pacific Security Association (APSA), said: “This is like the fourth industrial revolution – to experience all these new technologies like AI, security solutions, and UAV/unmanned systems, [and] how they cooperate with each other, in SECON & eGISEC.”

Shereen Wong, Head of Product & Marketing at ICT Zone Ventures Berhad, added: “SECON & eGISEC not only provide business opportunities but also valuable networking opportunities and [help us] keep up with trends. This is where we can bring everyone together to share information, see how they are doing, and explore how to collaborate.”

Cybersecurity still matters

While integrated security has become increasingly important in the digital economy we operate in today, the fast-evolving cyberthreat landscape syill means that cybersecurity is a critical issue that needs to be addressed constantly.

As part of the overall event, eGISEC 2026 is focused on automation and integration technologies addressing the shortage of cybersecurity professionals.

AI-driven real-time analysis and pattern recognition enabled large-scale threat detection and response, while proactive-AI and natural language-based analytics supported tasks difficult for humans to handle.

Zero Trust solutions were also widely showcased, addressing insider threats and lateral movement in remote and hybrid environments.

AhnLab presented its next-generation network security solution AhnLab XTG platform, integrating firewall, VPN, ZTNA, IPS, and DLP, along with virtual system deployment use cases for large enterprises and data centers.

INCA Internet introduced its centralized endpoint security platform TACHYON, demonstrating USB/external storage control, DLP, and malware prevention for corporate, public, financial, and gaming sectors.

SoftCamp showcased AX Security Enabler, integrating document security (DRM) and access control with hands-on SaaS use cases, and its Zero Trust remote access solution SHIELDGATE, featuring RBI technology, IAP-based access control, and web isolation.

WAREVALLEY presented Chakra Max, integrating database access control and auditing, and LogCatch, offering integrated log management and anomaly detection for core data protection and security operations.

Through eGISEC, visitors were able to experience how various AI-based integrated security solutions and automation technologies are applied in real-world scenarios, while gaining a comprehensive view of the latest trends in next-generation cybersecurity.

Coming up next

SECON & eGISEC 2026 attracted 412 exhibitors from 19 countries and regions and 26,389 industry professionals from over 31 countries and regions. The event featured 32 conference tracks, over 159 sessions, more than 410 business-matching meetings, and over 170 international hosted buyers.

Next year, SECON & eGISEC 2027 will be held on 17–19 March 2027 at KINTEX, Korea. For inquiries, please contact:
