With the holiday season coming up, the emerging pattern of cyber-attacks occurring over the weekends or holidays is concerning for businesses.

Cybereason has published a global report titled Organizations at Risk: Ransomware Attackers Don’t Take Holidays, based on a survey of more than 1,200 security professionals at organizations that have previously suffered a successful ransomware attack on a holiday or weekend.

It goes without saying that organizations must take action to mitigate their risk of being attacked, especially during holidays and weekends when cyber-defenders are most vulnerable, and minimize the disruption should attacks occur.
