Cybersecurity leads boardroom agendas among ASEAN organizations in light of pandemic-induced shifts.
Palo Alto Networks has released new research into businesses’ attitudes towards cybersecurity across several markets in South-east Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and Thailand.
Conducted in November 2021, the survey found that ASEAN business leaders are prioritizing cybersecurity issues at the board level as a result of the disruptions brought about by COVID-19. In addition, the shift towards mass remote work has brought on new cybersecurity challenges.
The results reflect the growing awareness among businesses on the importance of preventing successful cyber-attacks, and demonstrates how companies in ASEAN are being confronted by new cyber risks and threats.
